This member of the game development team will play a key role in bridging communication within the company and external audiences. We are seeking an innovative and strategic communicator who excels at managing multiple projects and messaging streams. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate to diverse audiences throughout the various stages of development in a fast-paced environment. Title: Manager, R&D, Card Business Reports to: Director, Product Development RESPONSIBILITIES • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine messaging that is relatable to games of all ages. • Manage messaging from high-level planning to consumer communications. • Closely monitor player feedback and tournament results to identify key insights into what the players’ true perception is. • Contribute to game and product development to make improvements on products designed for the global market. • Write advertising, marketing, and packaging copy that resonates with our target audience. • Track and report on broader industry trends. Desired Skills & Experience REQUIRED SKILLS • Bachelor’s degree required • Excellent written communication skills • Ability to communicate with any audience, from business partners to gamers of all ages • Ability to multi-task • Ability & desire to tackle projects from inception to completion • Experience communicating and interacting in-depth with gamer culture • The more extensive and long-term knowledge of Yu-Gi-Oh! is preferred • 5+ years of TCG knowledge a must, including some form of tournament experience • Proficiency in MS Office Suite • Demonstrates the ability to keep information and data confidential PREFERRED SKILLS • Gaming industry experience a plus Salary Range: $90k-$120k Please submit resumes to: tk32682@konami.com
