Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the OneState team — a Social RolePlay game with a rapidly evolving infrastructure and growing scale. You’ll work with geographically distributed infrastructure, Kubernetes, and backend services, help scale the system, and have a direct impact on technical decisions. EXPECTATIONS WHAT WE WANT TO SEE: * 5+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure * Experience working with geographically distributed infrastructure * Strong Kubernetes experience: working with high-load infrastructure, understanding of architecture, scaling, and root cause analysis * Experience working with AWS/GCP * Deep understanding of Linux and networking * Experience with GitOps and CI/CD * Experience building and maintaining observability systems: monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting; ability to independently identify and diagnose issues * Experience administering and optimizing databases (relational and/or columnar) * Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible * Proactive and self-driven: able to identify problems, propose solutions, and make technical decisions independently * Willingness to work from one of our offices in Almaty, Tbilisi, Yerevan or Limassol * Russian language proficiency at C1 level ADDITIONALLY, IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE: * Programming skills for automation (Bash / Python / Go) * Experience using AI tools or agents to automate tasks WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Developing and scaling infrastructure for game services * Ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems * Scaling game services and infrastructure to support growing loads * Working at the intersection of infrastructure and backend development: helping teams develop, deploy, and maintain backend services * Developing observability systems: monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting * Identifying and resolving issues in production systems — from detection and diagnosis to implementing and validating solutions * Developing CI/CD and GitOps processes * Automating routine infrastructure operations * Making technical decisions independently within your area of responsibility BENEFITS GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT Our project is actively growing, as well as the team that creates it.
