TRAINEE TEST ENGINEER – MANUAL GAME TESTING We are looking for a highly motivated Trainee Test Engineer to join our QA team in Hyderabad. This role provides an opportunity to work on manual game testing and be part of the quality assurance process, helping ensure the quality and functionality of games across various platforms. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance to identify defects and ensure overall quality. * Execute test cases and test plans according to project requirements and deadlines. * Document and track bugs using designated bug tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce. * Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and testing reports. * Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to game testing methodologies and tools. * Adhere to quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing procedures. * Contribute to the overall improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements. * Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the QA lead or management team. * Strong passion for gaming and good understanding of game mechanics and different game genres. * Experience or familiarity with games across platforms such as Mobile, PC, and Consoles. * Good understanding of different game genres such as RPG, FPS, Strategy, Sports, and AR games. * Comfortable using smartphones and familiar with Apple/Android platforms. * Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. * Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate defects. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies. * Flexible to work rotational, night, and weekend shifts. * Willingness to work overtime when required, as per company policy. * Freshers with a strong passion for gaming are encouraged to apply. * Comprehensive medical insurance covering the employee, spouse, and up to two dependent children. * Company-provided transport facility or applicable cab allowance for employees working night shifts. * Salary revision upon successful completion of six months of employment, subject to applicable company policies. * Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in professional game testing and QA. * Opportunity to work with a global team and gain exposure to gaming projects across multiple platforms.
