HR C&B Specialist - Japan

About this role

The HR Generalist will support a broad range of human resources functions, with a primary focus on Compensation & Benefits operations while also contributing to Talent Management initiatives. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient HR processes, compliance with local regulations, and a positive employee experience. Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and implementation of compensation programs by Global Rewards Team to ensure market competitiveness.Involved in salary benchmarking exercises and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay practices.Administer employee benefits programs, including health initiatives, insurance, and wellness activities.Support / Assist monthly payroll-related processes, time keeping / attendance tracking.Respond to employee queries related to compensation and benefits in a timely manner.Assist in updating and implementing C&B policies and procedures.Prepare and submit regular C&B reports and support audits by providing required documentation.Monitor and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.Support government-related submissions (e.g., maternity, paternity, and other statutory leave claims).Stay updated on market trends and HR best practices.Undertake additional duties as assigned from time to time.
